Questions, answered from our itineraries
These answers come from the itineraries we publish. If your question isn’t here, message us on WhatsApp.
Can’t find what you need?
Enquiring and booking
How do I book a trip?
Open the trip you like and tap "Enquire on WhatsApp". WhatsApp opens with a short message naming the trip. Press Send, and we'll reply with upcoming dates and prices. Per our itineraries, you book your slot by paying an advance; the rest is paid on Day 1 of the trip.
Does tapping the WhatsApp button reserve my seat?
No. The button only opens a WhatsApp chat with a ready-made message. Nothing is sent until you press Send, and a slot is booked only after we confirm it with you and you pay the advance.
Why don't you show prices on the website?
Prices depend on the travel option (for example Tempo Traveller with triple or double sharing, or an SUV), the season and the departure date. Ask us on WhatsApp for the current price for your dates. 5% GST is not included in our itinerary prices.
Is the advance refundable?
No. All three itineraries state that the advance paid to book your slot is non-refundable. See our Cancellation & Refund page for the details we have published so far.
Are there extra charges in peak season?
Yes. All three itineraries add an extra charge for Christmas and New Year departures (20 December to 5 January). The two Himachal itineraries also add an extra charge from 1 May to 30 June because of summer holidays. Ask us for the current amounts.
On the trip
Where do the trips start?
Both Himachal itineraries start at the boarding point at New Delhi Railway Station at 10 AM on a Saturday. The Kerala itinerary starts with a pick-up from Kochi airport or railway station and ends with a drop at Trivandrum or Kochi.
What should I carry?
All guests must carry a valid government-issued ID card. For anything else, such as clothing for the season, ask us on WhatsApp before you travel.
Are meals included?
Each itinerary lists its own meals. Wonderland Himachal (Mini) includes 4 breakfasts and 4 dinners, Snowy Escapades: Himachal with Amritsar includes 6 breakfasts and 6 dinners, and the Kerala trip includes 5 breakfasts, 1 lunch and 1 dinner. Lunch and other meals outside the plan are not included.
Are entry tickets and activities included?
No. Entry and adventure tickets are excluded on all three trips. On the Kerala trip, the Periyar lake cruise and safari and the Kalaripayattu and Kathakali show are self-paid.
Will we definitely visit Rohtang Pass?
The Himachal itineraries list Rohtang Pass / Sissu / Koksar / Solang and the Atal Tunnel on the snow-points day, and state that Rohtang Pass will be included after 15 May. The organiser can change the plan according to on-the-spot conditions such as weather and traffic.
Can the itinerary change?
Yes. The trip organiser or coordinator has the right to change the itinerary according to on-the-spot conditions. Sightseeing or activities of the day may be cancelled if we cannot reach the destination on time because of traffic.
I'm travelling alone. Can I join?
These are group trips. The room-sharing options listed in the itineraries are triple share and double share. Message us on WhatsApp to ask how rooms are arranged for solo travellers on your departure.
What is not allowed on the trip?
Narcotics and banned substances, weapons, fireworks and toxic substances are strictly prohibited. We may remove a traveller from the tour for violating the terms or misbehaving with co-travellers, and no refund is given in such cases.
